Jain Center of Greater Boston (JCGB), established in 1973, stands as one of the earliest Jain institutions of its kind in North America. In 1981, it became the first center to consecrate a dedicated Jain temple in the region, marking a significant milestone in the growth of the Jain diaspora.
Since its founding, JCGB has served as a leading force in the promotion and preservation of Jain philosophy, values, and traditions. The Center has played a pivotal role in nurturing a cohesive and spiritually grounded community.
Today, JCGB supports a vibrant congregation of over 400 families, spanning eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island, continuing its mission of spiritual enrichment and community engagement.

Jain Center of Greater Boston (JCGB), established in 1973, was one of the earliest Jain organizations in North America and became the first to build a dedicated Jain temple in 1981. Since its inception, JCGB has played a vital role in promoting Jain philosophy, supporting religious education, and building a strong, engaged community.
Today, JCGB serves a growing congregation of over 500 families from eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island, continuing its mission to preserve and share Jain values across the region.
